Here's the still life I did at Jo's Summerset workshop earlier this month.

I finished this in class yesterday and rather like it. Calling it Winter Woods. May want to enter it in the show next month. Three candidates. Choose two. Any input?

My class with Jo Myers-Walker has been fun. In a few weeks we're having a show at the senior center where we'll each show two paintings from the class. So these are my two. The flower arrangement needs to be trimmed down some and matted.

And trimmed it. Now I like it a bit better.

This was a good year for pretty autumn leaves. This is from the photo below taken looking east on Bloomington St. in Goosetown.

I'm working on another one that's just the right hand side of this photo, but it isn't finished. I'm thinking about a second brick building on the left and further back to balance the burnt sienna of the one on the right.
